it was about one in the afternoon when melanie decided to talk a walk in the saturday afternoon. all her homework was done, and she needed to get away from herself. she was wearing a grey sweater with a skull on it, that was a size too large, so her sleeves passed her fingers easily. a grey cami was worn under it, which could be seen through the slightly see-though shirt. she also wore bright pink skinny jeans that hugged her legs tightly. she wore her favorite pair of shoes: converse high tops with drawings all over them. clipped to her pants pocket was her green ipod shuffle, whose headphones were in her ears, and played some all time low. she hummed along to the song breakout, breakout. her red ponytail bobbed as she walked on the concrete to the tempo of the song. her mind began to wander. the smells of the flowers and outdoors overwhelmed her, and she found herself thinking about the perfect life. a big house... her mother still alive... a shot of pain shot through her wrists and melanie gasped a bit and looked at her wrists. scars covered them, and some of them were bleeding. she sighed and sat in a bench and took out a pack of tissues from her pocket and wiped away the blood. but they kept bleeding. she looked around nervously and hoped no one saw. it would end her if anyone did. but the blood kept flowing and flowing. she panicked and grabbed more tissues, stained with red. she was breathing fast and her eyes scanned the garden. no one was around. she breathed a small sigh of relief, but kept dabbing the tissues at the scars and cuts. the blood started to slowly disappear, and there were tissues on the floor around her. she put the sleeves back on her wrists, picked up the tissues from the floor, and put them in her pocket. her eyes glanced up, and there was a shadow. it came closer and closer. mel sat back down on the bench and hoped the person didn't see her scars. she didn't need to worry about anything else in her life.

wouldn’t it be nice if we could wake up, in the morning when the day is new KIN FLEURESWA ==================================== Kin was outside enjoying the weather. Being an active girl, Kin always needed to be out in the breeze or seeing what the world had to offer. She loved to just run—anything to kill some energy. A bored Kin was a dangerous one, so it was best if she kept busy. Today, she was just running, for no reason other than for the sake of running. She made her way around the outside of the school once already and now found herself walking instead, enjoying the weather.
Today, Kin wore a bright blue t-shirt with cookies, a glass of milk and the word love on the shirt. She had black jeans on and a pair of blue converse disguising her black and blue striped knee highs. She wasn’t overly dressy and instead very casual. Her two bracelets, one around each wrist, stated “Epic Fail” and her necklace that of Mickey Mouse, a gift from her parents when she was younger. Considering her hatred for her parents it was a surprise she still wore it. A second necklace was two dog tags with the symbol for the Decepticons from Transformers; one with a hole to display the color of the second tag.
She placed on foot in front of the other until she came around the edge of the garden and walked up the path finding someone sitting on a bench not a short ways away. She quickly recognized the red hair, and tucked some of her own silvery platinum hair behind her ear before speeding up to go meet her friend. Melanie was the first friend Kin made upon arriving here and the girl had yet to really piss her off, which was always a good thing. Kin was doing well with her problem, well better than she was, and Melanie and her other select friends were part of that reason. Kin didn’t admit she had a problem, and wasn’t about to—but she knew she had made progress at becoming a much better friend and a much better person.
She smiled widely, ”Bonjour Mel!”
she said with her usual smile as she got close enough to be heard and she made her way over the to the bench and plopped down next to the other girl. ”it is a nice day, Oui?” Kin asked with a grin. Her English was still rough, having only learned it for a year before coming though the year here she had spent getting better at phrasing her sentences. English was confusing and lacked the structure that French had so Kin had a long way to go still, but she was doing well enough. Though she still used French for the little words like Yes, No, Hello and sometimes she would begin answering something in French before she realized she was doing it. She looked over her friend, not noticing anything of the previous moment of course, and completely unaware of it. Kin wasn’t exactly observant so that was no real surprise. She didn’t even notice any discomfort if there was any to notice at all. That was Kin for you.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Melanie Austin •• •• Words • 518 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Wouldn’t it be Nice" by The Beach Boys ••
