* -Name: Cuyler Cohen Willam.
* -Nicknames: Cuy.
* -Age and Year: Seventeen, year three.
* -Gender: Male.
* -Sexuality: Heteromantic asexual.
* -Disorder: Phobia: genophobia (fear of sex) and arrhenphobia (fear of men).
* -Risk : High.

* -Hair: The color of this boy’s hair is debatable. Some people have called it blonde, while others say he’s a ginger. He just goes with it being blonde, since in the summer whatever color it was before bleaches to be considerably lighter in shade. Spending a lot of time outdoors, his hair has considerable sun damage with much lighter sections on the top and much darker sides underneath. His hair is long, reaching to his shoulders, and lightly layered from some of it growing faster than others. His hair is almost always messy and tangled, and while he tries to keep it well it just ends up becoming a mess.
* -Eyes: Cuyler is in love with his eyes and he is not afraid to admit that. They are a deep, ocean blue with wisps of forest green. He likes to compare them to the ocean a lot. They are subject to changing shades, often seeming a navy blue when he is angry while they are a pale green when he is excited (which doesn’t happen often). They are the eyes everyone thinks are contacts and while he does wear contact, they aren’t colored ones. His eyes are thin diamonds with short, dark lashes and are a bit too long for his face. They carry a lot of emotion, most of it pent up and shady. They are eyes that show he has been through a lot but doesn’t seem to care.
* -Height: 5’11”.
* -Weight: 174 pounds.
* -Tattoos: None.
* -Piercing: Both ears are pierced twice.
* -Play By: Jamie Campbell Bower.
* -Clothing Style:
Cuyler’s clothes hardly change in style and if they do it’s his someone else’s doing. When it comes to formal wear his fashion sense changes dramatically. He likes to take on the Egyptian part of his heritage in these cases and will often dress up in either more Ancient styled clothes or modern and traditional. The colors, like his usual clothes, don’t have a set color. He just wears the ones he feels like wearing. He loves wearing bracelets though, most of which are gold. When he isn’t being formal it’s always sweaters that show as little skin as possible, favoring stripes or silly Christmas patterns when the season rolls around. Vests are common as well as scarves. Even when it’s hot out he will wear a sweater, never showing too much and always keeping as covered as possible
* -General: Over all Cuyler has a very masculine appearance to him. He has a broader, square shaped face with a long, sharp jaw line. His chin is small and square shaped with thin, dark pink lips a bit too short for his face. They are usually scowling or in a smug smirk with little defining shape to them. His nose is thicker at the bridge then round at the tip, curling downward slightly. He has a very masculine looking face that could be considered handsome if he wasn’t so rude.
Cuyler has an athletic build, though you would never guess. He is tall, reaching almost six feet and has broad, masculine shoulders. There is little curve to his hips and waist, which are rather shapeless and square. He has longer, muscular legs and arms to match. He has visible muscle throughout his body, mostly on his always bare arms. He is toned in his muscle and isn’t near grossly large nor scrawny. He is built and obviously works out. He takes pride in his body’s health (despite his smoking addiction).
He also has a very unique accent to his deep and slightly raspy voice. He has a blended accent that can be hard to place at times, often sounding like a normal Dutch one then changing to something else. He grew up around several different ethnic backgrounds and people who had different accents. He has adopted parts of his mother’s Egyptian accent that hide in the way he pronounces certain words. It is a hard thing to place but it sounds very neat. He has also adapted part of his father’s own blended accent so he has that thick way of pronouncing certain sounds and rolling his R’s in a very Italian way. Overall, his accent is as unique as Cuyler himself is and is pleasant to listen to.

* -Likes: heavy metal, Italy, Holland, Egypt, languages, photography, photojournalism, fashion photography, photo shoots with friends, being outside, yard work, gardening, beaches, swimming, jewellery, long hair, facial hair, his family, cats, gold, fleece blankets, hot showers, sitting in trees, reading, cigarettes, talking.
* -Dislikes: men, children, being touched, being alone, tee shirts, affection of any kind, pop music, country music, rap music, short sleeved shirts, shaving, hair cuts, talking about himself, talking about his father especially, showing skin, winter, snow, being cold, dogs, rodents, birds, airplanes, dentists, clowns, dolls, babies, showing weakness.
* -Strengths: photography, photographic memory, speaks four languages, physically fit, independent.
* -Weaknesses: his fears, wears sweaters all year round and overheats in the summer, can’t stand to be touched, low pain tolerance, romantic relationships.
* -Fears: men, sex, being touched, being alone in a room with a guy, affection, gay men (not because he’s not accepting of them but because of personal experience).
* -Secrets: he was raped by his father for nine years of his life, his brother committed suicide, he doubts he will ever be able to have a regular relationship.
* -Personality:Cuyler immediately comes of as cold and uncaring. He puts out an “I couldn’t care less” kind of attitude when it comes to people. He doesn’t seem to be very social when it comes to wanting to make friends. He doesn’t mind that people don’t like him, he actually prefers it. He comes off as very intimidating and kind of a bully. While he doesn’t really pick on others like bullies would, he makes sarcastic comments. Cuyler can be a bit of a jerk at times though there is logical reasoning behind it. Cuyler has suffered through things children just should go through and this has messed with his mind a lot. He has long since stopped asking “Why me?” but still has that negative view about what has happened to him. Cuyler doesn’t know how to care for others and shows it the only way he knows how, through sarcastic and slightly insulting comments. His fear for what happened to him as a child coming back gets in the way of Cuyler being happy and having friends. Cuyler is a very sarcastic guy but it is hard to tell when he is being serious and when he is joking. Most of the time he is just joking but people take it the wrong way. He likes to poke fun at people and doesn’t mind when they poke fun at him. He can be fun when you get to know him, always having something amusing to say or do. He doesn’t mind physical labor and is relatively strong for his age and habit. To see Cuyler’s fun and obviously joking side if a rare occurrence and takes a lot of trust building.
One thing people would never guess about Cuyler is that he can be a very nice and kind guy when he wants to be. Because he puts out such a tough and intimidating outer self people immediately assume that’s all he is like. But, in truth, he is a very loving guy. When in a relationship he is very respectful and gentlemanly, never doing anything the girl doesn’t want him to do. He likes to hug and hold the girl and tell her how much he cares for her in his own way. Cuyler, however, isn’t very easily trusting. He never tells anyone unless they ask, which is his ‘motto’ so to say. As far as telling people things, he only does so if someone asks him first. But one big thing when it comes to relationships is that a serious one seldom happens. This comes back to his childhood again. He is terrified of it coming back and while he tries to ignore that fear it bubbles inside of him when he is with a girl. He has had plenty of relationships, sure, but none have ever panned out nicely. While he can be cuddly and gentlemanly he never goes farther than kissing. He is too scared to do anything more which has conflicted with his previous girlfriends.

* -Origin: Aswan, Egypt.
* -Mother: Evelein Cleo Ramses, 44, teacher.
* -Father: Jannik Michael Willam, 52, unknown.
* -Siblings:
* -Other Important People: Chaia Ramses, 17, cousin.
* -History:Evelein Ramses met Jannik Willam when she was only eighteen. He was touring Egypt, fuelling his love for the culture and myths of the land when they met. It was in a market of a town named Aswan, which was just off The Nile. When they met she took a liking to the half Dutch, half Italian almost immediately and would go home to her sister to coo about him. Evelein’s sister, being the older of the two, had taken on the family business with Evelein helping out from time to time. They had a very close relationship and there was about to be a wall in the middle of it. Jannik decided he wanted to stay in Egypt and asked Evelein whom he had been talking to for a few months now, if she would be his girlfriend. The now nineteen year old said yes and three years later they married. Evelein would have never, even for one second, think that Jannik would do the things he ended up doing. He was a nice and respectful man who pampered her to no end. Evelein’s sister hated him and warned her sister he was up to no good but Evelein didn’t listen.
They didn’t have their first child until she was twenty four. The couple decided on the name Jan Cuyler and agreed to keep his families tradition going. The first name of their next son would be the middle name of the son before and the same would apply to the girls. The boy’s birth was a happy one for the couple; Jannik was such a proud father. He loved talking about his baby boy and bragged about him to no end. A year later Marete Katan was born. It wasn’t until the birth of Cuyler Cohen when things started to change. By this point Jan was four years old and Jannik’s view of his children hadn’t changed to anyone outside the family. He bragged about his children and how beautiful and smart they were and showed off pictures and told stories. But when Jan was four and Cuyler was just a baby Jannik changed his attitude toward his children at home. He became abusive toward Marete and started raping Jan. And Jan, being four years old, wasn’t believed when he tried to explain what was going on. He only tried a few times though, not bothering when no believed him.
Three years later Jan was still being raped on a regular basis and no one knew. Marete was being abused every now and then and Evelein never even had the slightest of doubts about her husband. Jannik eventually begged Evelein to move to the Netherlands with him. He was home sick and wanted to be with his family there. She didn’t mind but Evelein’s sister did. By this point she had a son of her own named Chaia whom Cuyler was rather close to as an infant. A year later is when things changed for Cuyler. In a big city in Holland, Cuyler Cohen Willam was now four years old and it was his turn for his father’s “special treatment”. For four years Cuyler and his older brother Jan would be raped on a regular basis by their own father. No one would find out until much later though. Evelein had yet to suspect anything and thought that the move from Egypt to Holland had caused her eldest son’s odd behavior. He wouldn’t go outside unless it was going to and from school and was always very scared and timid. The only one he seemed to like and not be afraid of was Cuyler. Cuyler and Jan, despite their age difference, were close. They shared something no one else knew about or could ever understand.
As a child Cuyler never thought anything of what was happening to him. Jan didn’t tell people so he knew he shouldn’t but he was too young to understand why. He didn’t quite grasp that it was a bad thing, though he knew it was. To him it was every day life and he didn’t know any better. He did, however, understand that it was only him and his brother. At eight years old he learned that his father only did this “special” thing with his sons, not the girls. He didn’t know what to think of this.
The raping went on for years and Cuyler never told a soul. He didn’t even talk about it with Jan. Marete knew it was happening but didn’t know what to do. Evelein had no clue due to Jannik’s incredibly manipulation skills. He was always nice when his wife was around though. One thing that set the family off though, was when Jan was found hanging from the curtains around the bathtub. He had hanged himself and Marete and Cuyler were the ones to find him. His suicide had brought a lot of question to the parents, or more specifically Evelein. She had no idea what would have brought it on. Cuyler said that Jan had been teased a lot as school and didn’t want anyone to know. Marete backed him up and Katen was too young to know otherwise. Evelein accepted this; Jan had always been sensitive. It was a hard blow though and Jannik played it well.
Soon after Jan’s suicide, which had broken and terrified Cuyler, his younger brother was born. Koen was the light of Cuyler’s life, since he now had incentive to get out of his father’s idea of father-son-bonding. He was determined to make it so that the raping didn’t happen to Koen but he was still too scared to do anything. He did nothing for four more years and around the time when Koen would be turning four Cuyler knew he had to do something. Four had been the age him and his brother’s raping had started at so he knew it would be for Koen as well. One night Cuyler pulled his mother aside and said one sentence. “I lied about why Jan killed himself, Dad raped him and he still rapes me.” Marete bless her soul, had been there and stuck by what her brother claimed. She had seen it. Evelein was shocked and didn’t know what to think at first. But when she thought back and looked at how Jannik treated the kids she was disgusted to see that it was true. She couldn’t live with herself for not seeing earlier on. So one night the family planned, together, to fly back to Egypt to live with Evelein’s sister and her son Chaia (who was the same age as Cuyler). It was to be a secret and Katen and Koen weren’t told until they were leaving. Bags packed while Jannik was at work they left and not a single word was left to him as to where they were. The arrival back at Aswan had been a rather scary one of the mother. With four children in tow and no idea if her sister was even still in Aswan she hoped things would turn out for the better. She hadn’t talked to her sister since they moved to Italy so it was an awkward meeting.
Chaia was the one who greeted them at the door of the house Evelein remembered. He was a polite and mannerly boy who looked too obviously like his mother. When asked where his mother was he explained that she was in bed, she was very sick. Evelein’s sister had cancer. She died a month after they arrived back in Egypt. Evelein took Chaia in without a second thought but knew that she had to get away from Aswan. Word of Jannik arriving in nearby towns was spreading. With Evelein being her sister’s next of kin she took the woman’s most precious belongings and the money she had saved for n emergency (which was a lot) and the family of five children and Evelein took shuttle buses around Europe before settling in San Marino, Italy when they had word of Jannik being arrested for drug abuse. Chaia and the children never seemed to mind traveling and Cuyler and his cousin immediately took to a close friendship. They weren’t in San Marino long but longer than they had any other place. They were there almost a year before they moved to North Carolina for good this time. Jannik had mentioned that he hated Americans so he would never go there to find them. And since the family already knew English it wasn’t that hard to make a living.
As bad as Evelein felt for using her sister’s saved money she used it to give her children and her nephew the best of educations. They were sent to the schools of their choice, but when Cuyler entered high school he found it difficult to adjust. He was paranoid about the other boys in his class and even more paranoid about his male teachers. He scarcely talked to anyone unless it was a girl and would have fits if anyone male touched him. He refused to do P.E. unless it was with the girls, or at least co-ed, but they wouldn’t allow it. He was forced to use the same change room as all of the other guys in his class, which sparked his first real freak out. Off in the corner and away from most of the other guys, someone happened to brush past Cuyler as he was changing. His initial reaction was to jump against the wall and curl up on the floor in a panic attack. The boy hadn’t meant to scare Cuyler, but it had happened. Chaia was called down to the gym to coax Cuyler out of his panic attack and brought home, where his mother discussed that maybe he should get help. He agreed to go to Rosedale where he has been ever since.

he simply said as it sat down in the farthest chair from her. Even in a single syllable his exotic accent ringing through. He loved his accent and how unique it was. [/blockquote]words: 718Anxious seemed to be his ever lasting mood since coming to Rosedale, and while he was willingly seeking help for his problems he wasn’t feeling like he was going anywhere. The therapists had tried taking “baby steps”, which consisted of him being in the boy’s dorms rather than the girl’s. That, to him, was not a baby step. He didn’t even have a dorm mate yet and he was already having trouble sleeping knowing that he was on a floor with all men. It made him very nervous and very uncomfortable and it was hard to sleep when he was feeling like that. There were too many males around for his liking; he was constantly feeling vulnerable and at risk of something horrible happened. Cuyler knew that not every guy in the world wanted to hurt him just because his father had, but he couldn’t help but be afraid anyways. One couldn’t really blame him if they knew what had happened to him, which was nine years of rape from the man who was supposed to protect and nurture you. Obviously anyone who had been through something like that would have an issue or two to deal with, and his just so happened to be big issues. At least he was willing to admit that he had a problem, which he had been told was the first step to recovery. It was all bullshit to him, but whatever. He could go along with what they told him, but not with everything that they tried to do to “cure” him. He doubted he would ever be able to be completely comfortable around a guy. He doubted he would ever be comfortable enough to even cuddle with a girl. His childhood had messed him up pretty bad.
Cuyler tugged the sleeves of his grey patterned sweater, bringing them farther down his hands, which also had darker grey fingerless gloves. Even when it was boiling hot outside, Cuyler refused to wear a tee shirt due to his fear. He was anxious about people, specifically men, seeing too much skin. The racial mutt also had a pair of black jeans on and pale yellow Converse, as well as a green scarf that was loose around his neck. Blonde hair was lightly curled and a mess of tangles surrounding his face, which tried its best to appear calm and stoic. He was pretty good at hiding his true emotions and feelings from people. After all, he had hid what was truly happening from his mom for years and even when he had finally admitted to the abuse she hadn’t believed him. He was good at putting on a cold front, though he had found that his eyes always held a lot more expression than he preferred. He actually liked taking self portraits for that reason though, aside from being just slightly narcissistic. That and finding models was hard when you were too afraid to approach people. Photography was more therapeutic for Cuyler than his therapy sessions were, allowing for a much needed release that talking about his experiences could never do.
He kept tugging at his sleeves as he walked, camera around his neck and mind more than alert for people. He passed a few on his way to the therapy rooms, avoiding any accidental contact as if they had the Bubonic plague. He tried to make it seem like he simply didn’t like people, how well that was working out for him was beyond his guess. Finally coming to the therapy room doors, he slipped through them and closed it quietly behind him. Turning to see only a group of kids sitting in tables, he had to admit that he felt slightly relieved. Being alone in a room with someone bothered him in itself, and being in a room with too many people bugged him as well, but this was just the right volume. His dark blue eyes scanned the room before settling on a table with only one person occupying it, a girl. She looked pretty harmless, but in a place like this looks could be very deceiving. “Hey,”
