Standing at exactly 4 feet 11 inches tall Ryan is considered pretty short for an 18 year old girl. All of her life Ryan has been the short girl that has had to stand in the front row of the family pictures even when he younger brothers got to move a step back. However to make up for her short height Ryan has beautifully long blond hair that has bounce and slight curl to it. Nobody knows how Ryan ended up with pretty blonde hair when the rest of the family had ginger hair. Her older brothers would joke with her that she was adopted, but every time they did her mom would reassure her that they were being ridiculous. Growing up with 5 brothers Ryan was always wearing her brother’s hand-me-downs so when she was finally able to pick her own clothes she went all out being as fashionable and cute as possible and she still does.
PERSONALITY:
Growing up with 5 brothers Ryan learned how to be tough and to keep up with them. The only time they ever babied her was when she cried or a new boy was in her life, otherwise they treated her just like everyone else. It made her more outspoken and outgoing than the average girl. She isn’t afraid to let everyone know how she is feeling, good or bad, well besides sadness. She relates better to boys since she grew up with them, but she still has some girl friends, they just have to learn to deal with her in your face personality. Now with some alcohol added in she’s like an unstoppable force. She is a loud, obnoxious, in your face, and a very temperamental drunk.
HISTORY:
The day of December 5th was probably one of the happiest days of Analeigh and Casey McGreen’s life because that was the day her daughter Ryan was born. It seemed like an impossible dream because of the three boys she had before, Logan (4 years old), Quinn (3 years old), and Finny (1 year old). It was all that Analeigh wanted to have a little girl that she could dress in pink and flaunt around, but instead she got a little girl that would run around with the boys and wear her brother’s hand me downs. It wasn’t exactly Analeigh’s dream but hey she did get her little girl.
Two years later Analeigh was pregnant again with twin, you guessed it, boys Seamus and Shane. Ryan didn’t really understand what was going on, but she did understand that she would be having two more brothers to play with. The twins were born and Ryan was like a little mother to them. She was overly protective for some reason, always scrutinizing what her mom and dad did with them so by the time they were 4 months old she could change their diapers and feed them. Her mother was surprised that her little tom boy had such a motherly instinct, but she was happy that there was some girly behavior in her body.
As Ryan grew up she became more and more girly, but she never lost her ability to run with the boys. She was always looking out for her baby brothers. By the time that Ryan was 14 things still hadn’t changed. She had more boy friends than girls and she was constantly looking out for her brothers, which they started to get annoyed with when they started junior high. Ryan didn’t think she had to worry about the boys because they were the classic little jokesters. They would pull pranks, get detentions, and just make everyone laugh their butts off. When they reached the age of 14 something horribly unexpected happened, that changed the McGreen family.
The twins committed suicide.
They did it within a week of each other. First it was Seamus, then a week later Shane followed suit and they were both found by Ryan. Ryan took it harder than anyone else in the family because she was the closest to them. Logan and Quinn were in college at the time but they came back right away for the first funeral and then staid for the second. It was too devastating for Analeigh to have her two baby boys kill themselves because they just seemed so happy, but nobody knew that Seamus and Shane were unhappy. Apparently they had both fallen for the same girl who led them both on and then broke it to them at the same time by inviting them to the same date then showing up with some college guy instead. It devastated them both which led to their deaths.
After Seamus and Shane died Analeigh was always locked in her bed room crying, Logan and Quinn went back to college, and Casey was always at work. For a while Ryan had some solace in Finny, they hung out all the time because nobody really knew what to do around the McGreens after the twins’ deaths. The thing was that Finny was a bit of a partier, he wasn’t a big drunk or anything but he exposed Ryan to something that she didn’t do that often and she got a little carried away. Ryan kept partying even after Finny went to college, getting drunk every night but her parents never noticed. Nobody noticed until the day that the girl that caused her brothers to kill themselves showed up at a party. Ryan doesn’t really remember the details but apparently in a drunken fit of rage she got in a bad fight with the girl and spent a night in jail. Within the week she got sent to Rosedale, which broke her mother’s heart all over again.
