APPEARANCE:
Laura up on the fashions though tends to lean toward the skimpier styles. She has a good body and isn't afraid to show it off, it is after all one of her greatest weapons. She likes to wear things that are very form fitting and low cut. Shoes are a girls best friend and Laura loves to collect them. Her favourites are pumps, anything with a heel is simply beautiful.
As far as hair an make up Laura doesn't spend forever on them. She likes both to look good but simple is best. She has long blond hair which she usually leaves down as she can never be bothered to put it up. Her make up is minimal though what she does put on she does heavily, especially around her eyes.
PERSONALITY:
If there was one would to describe Laura it would be manipulative. She knows what she wants and will do almost anything to get it, she doesn't seem to care who she hurts along the way. Laura uses all available tools she has in order to convince someone to do what she wants. Guys tend to be easier for her to manipulate as she finds her body can be very persuasive to most. Girl however take a little more work and this is where her bitchy nature tends to show itself. Laura can be very good at identifying peoples weaknesses and insecurities and she will use those to bully others into submission.
Many would call Laura cold as she seems to take pleasure in hurting others but that really isn't the case. Deep down she hates what she does but she really doesn't know how else to do. Laura likes to be in control and she doesn't know how else to gain that control over her life. She is very guarded and doesn't trust many people. When ever someone starts to get close Laura simply pushes them away.
HISTORY:
Laura's father never wanted a child. He was a high powered attorney who owned a very successful firm. Most of his time was spent at the office, leaving his young wife at home alone. This left Laura's mother searching for a way to fill her womanly needs. She had never been truly attracted to her husband in the first place but liked knowing he would be able to provide for her and the family she longed to have. However after 7 years of marriage they had yet to conceive and she couldn't understand why. Mr. Chambers was very unconcerned about this and refused to take time off work to go to doctor's appointments to find a solution. Mrs. Chambers however was not ready to give this up so easily she wanted children and would do anything to get them. So she started to have flings with the staff that worked at the house, the gardener, pool boys, postmen etc. Soon enough she became pregnant which thrilled Mrs. Chambers. Mr. Chambers didn't seem to care either way and showed little interest in the whole thing.
When Laura was 3 she barely knew her father existed and she rarely saw him. He was at the office all the time and when he was home she was usually asleep. It didn't bother her as she was young and had no idea what she was missing out on, besides she had her mother who showered her with love and attention. Mrs. Chambers couldn't have been happier with her beautiful little girl, but she had always dreamed of a large family and so she once again had flings with staff. It was harder finding the time for these now that she had Laura, but she did manage to find some time. Soon enough she became pregnant for a second time, equally as happy as she had the first time.
Laura was excited to know that she would soon be a big sister. She could imagine what it would be like to have a little brother or sister to play with. Though things don't always go as planned. There were many complications during labour and neither mother nor child survived. Mr. Chambers was now left with a 4 year old daughter who he barely knew and who barely knew him. He wasn't about to take time off work to build this non existent relationship though and so hired a team of nannies to take care of the girl. Which was fine when Laura was young.
Once Laura started school and started to make friends she got to see what their lives were like. She found herself jealous of the relationships they had with their mothers and fathers. She longed to be a part of a family like so many others seemed to be. This is when she started to manipulate people into doing things for her. Making people be her friend, to give her things anything to make her feel loved and wanted. The older she got the better she got at it and the more tools she discovered were available to her. It was easy to get guys to fall for her as they all wanted one thing. That didn't mean she actually gave it out all the time, in fact she rarely did. However she could make each guy believe he would be getting something from her, which would make them do whatever she wanted. With girls it was much more gossip related. Laura could spin a story about nearly anyone and spread it around the school like wild fire.
Needless to say this left Laura with very few real friends and no understanding of what real love was. Instead of admitting it bothered her Laura would drink. She found that drinking made everything easier to deal with, plus it gained her popularity with her peers. Since her father was rarely around it gave her plenty of opportunity to throw huge parties. Sometimes things got a little out of hand especially with all the drinking and the way Laura enjoyed teasing men. It was nothing she would ever admit to however her behavioiur only got worse to the point where her father was no longer able to ignore it. Laura's teachers at school had pushed the topic with him so much that it focused him to take some sort of action. The easiest solution for Mr. Chambers was to send Laura away to a school where she could get treatment for whatever issues she had. That was how she ended up at Rosedale.
