APPEARANCE:
There's nothing totally special about Astra. She has long blond hair, that is all natural. She takes very much after her mother. There's some random pink streak going through. She got it at a party one night, and decided enough that she liked it and kept putting it in her hair when it faded. She also has these bright blue eyes that compliment her fair skin. She doesn't tan usually, so she takes care of it.
She stands at just about 5'4", and has a rather healthy body. The excessive drinking has caused her to loose some weight recently. But it hasn't stopped her from reckless nights. Her wardrobe usually consists of some colored tank top, a hoodie and pants or a skirt depending on how she is feeling that night. There is usually always some sort of bright color, though the rest is usually black or white. She just not that normal at times.
PERSONALITY:
Well, the sober Astra is very agitated usually. Not on edge, but she doesn't like the feeling of being sober, it makes everything hit her really hard, and she doesn't want to admit there is a problem that way. She can be very touchy at times, and takes things in the wrong way, at least from some people. So she gets mad at herself at times too. Deep down inside, she feels helpless to what's going on, but doesn't want to stop because she just doesn't want to give up that lifestyle so easily. Why go to a boring lackluster life. Drinking is the only way to go.
Now, the party Astra is a totally different story. She'll party with anyone, practically anytime, and more than just in the sense of dancing and drinking. Though, she knows she doesn't remember half of the things she's done in the past, she has random flashbacks at times. She's not loud, but she loves everyone usually and never has a problem with what's she's doing. Everything is carefree and nothing needs to be worried about. That's how she sees life, or wants to. Looking at things through sober eyes in no longer fun. She wants to keep experiencing new things.
HISTORY:
When Astra was a little girl, there was probably nothing really abnormal about her life. She grew up with her two parents, William and Alice Roberts, and her three siblings. She was the 2nd of the four, born on March 17th, St. Patrick's day. Kinda ironic really. Anyways, she had an older sister and two younger siblings, twins; a boy and a girl. Her older sister never liked any of them, and always wanted to be an only child. Astra didn't care as much, but then again, she wasn't close to her older sister, and the twins stuck to each other like glue, and were annoying, so she was petty much left to herself a lot. Not that she really cared.
She grew up in a decent neighborhood, a good place to raise a family, but not rich by any means. Just enough really, for everyone in the family. And, my family wasn't strict about anything. They weren't controlling parents, they basically let the kids do whatever they wanted. That's how Astra started going to parties and how everything started to happen. It wasn't like it was ever hard for her to get into a party once she got into high school. Parties were frequent, and with a college nearby, too easy to walk into most of the time. Not that anyone ever knew Astra there, she was just that girl, for a while anyways.
Friends. That's where this whole problem started for this influenced teenager. Most of her childhood she was sheltered and didn't really have a clue what the "real world" was like. Her family didn't drink, or do drugs. They weren't religious that much either, but it just never came up. So once Astra got some good friends, they basically showed her the world, and more. At least what she thought it was. She learned quickly, that these people were more fun, and cooler than her family ever was. Plus, these college students always let them into parties, so why not go if you were getting free drinks?
Everything seemed to have gone by quickly. Grades dropped in school, and every night, Astra was out partying with someone. Over the first year or so, her body got use to the amounts of liquor she consumed. She also would almost drink anything now that was handed to her, sometimes the taste no longer mattered when you were so far gone. There were also times where she could remember parts of previous nights, but not really remember anything at all. It could be a bad thing to many people, but she was having to much fun to care. Though, the younger siblings started to poke around her life. After one night of her being left on the porch, in a totally blacked out state, they alerted her parents and she was sent to the hospital. It was the first time that ever happened to her, and the doctors found traces of drugs in her stomach, along with high contents of alcohol. This was the first time her parents ever knew about that, and they weren't going to put up with it. They found the best place for their little girl, and they sent her to this school.
